Alignment: The Biofeedback of Who We Are

Alignment is not a practice or even a thing we can focus on. It is the byproduct of everything that is, everything that we are. It is a feedback loop reflecting our internal reality, driven by our reticulating activating system, whether or not it works for us. Alignment isn’t about striving or trying to achieve a state of flow; it’s about recognizing that everything we experience is already aligned with what we truly believe even if it isn’t necessarily good or the truth.

Science tells us that the subconscious mind is the architect of our reality. It shapes how we perceive, react, and experience life, based on the beliefs and patterns encoded deep within us. These patterns were often formed in childhood, as we navigated a world that most likely didn’t feel safe, supportive, or loving. And even if it was safe, supportive and loving, as children we can still experience things that cause us to believe differently.

Alignment, then, is not a measurement of “rightness” or success; it is the mirror showing us the mathematics of our beliefs, the cause and effect in our physical reality. What we are aligned to makes sense, even when it feels like it doesn’t work for us. It works perfectly for the programming we have internalized—beliefs about being broken, bad, wrong, or not enough. These beliefs are survival mechanisms, fabricated truths we clung to as children in an attempt to make sense of a confusing and painful world.

And as we continue to explore, survival isn’t the same as thriving, and for many of us, the alignment we are living now reflects outdated beliefs rooted in surivval rather than the truth of who we are so we end up experiencing life as struggling or not working.

Aligning to Ourselves

For so long, if not the majority of our lives, we were hidden from the world and ourselves. The journey of coming home to yourself is referred to as unmaking for some. As we became whoever we believe the world and our living situation wanted or needed us to be, masking or even denying our true selves in order to mirror what we believe was needed to fit in, survive, or avoid pain. This alignment to a world that doesn’t work for us is not failure; it is a function of the programming we inherited. It’s the byproduct of beliefs that we created for survival as children when we didn’t know any better or different as we didn’t know how to be in a way that worked both for ourselves and others.

Aligning to, or unmasking, ourselves means coming out of hiding, stepping into the unknown, and discovering who we truly are. This process isn’t something that is all together easy as how does one stop hiding when you have no relation or connection to the one who is hiding?

This experience is not about forcing alignment, or flow or striving to feel “good.” It’s about understanding that the life we are experiencing is already aligned with what we’ve unconsciously created and that we now have the power to choose differently now and begin to build a life that results in the same effortless result of what feels good in the exact same way the feel bad defaults into your brain and body.

This process is all around removing the blame me want to play on ourselves for abandoning ourselves. It’s about reclaiming our essence, our power. Alignment is simply the bio feedback of our subconscious manifested into physical form that shows is this working for our purpose or our programming. It reveals the invisible threads of belief and survival mechanisms that have shaped our reality. And when we see it clearly, we can begin to shift.

The Mathematics of Alignment

Everything in our reality ultimately comes down to mathematics—cause and effect. While Newtonian physics is real in our physical reality. There is also a whole quantum mathematics that makes the experience of cause and effect be a topic beyond any post I could create today.

Quantum Physics in essence is the study of that which is beyond our understanding. And there are concepts inside of quantum physics that give us mathematical approaches to our reality that allow us to observe, witness and shift resulting in what has been best defined as a “quantum leap” as your reality in an instant completely changes and what you were aligning to that wasn’t working for you completely disappears in every area of your life.

I believe these mechanics are key in discovering and uncovering what it takes to heal in a way that is simple, easy and fun. What I am out to create with The Experience. If we are aligned with struggle, chaos, or dissatisfaction, it’s not because we’ve failed; it’s because those experiences match beliefs and patterns we’ve been running. It makes perfect sense.

If you put any person in existence in your exact same place, they would have done the exact same thing.

You make perfect sense. And so this is what we now get to play with on our journey towards mastery.

Alignment is always working. It’s just might not always working for the version of us we desire to bring into existence.

To shift our experience, and ultimately what we are aligning, we don’t need to “try harder” or fix ourselves. Instead it looking at the mechanics of what’s happening. Recognize the false beliefs, many of which were created by a child’s mind trying to navigate a world that didn’t feel safe or loving. Those beliefs aren’t the truth when you get to looking at them and they are the truth that is currently guiding you. The truth you created to survive, what some will refer to as the stories we made up.

I do not find referring to my truth as a story and I also get how when we get down to it, it can be seen exactly like that. For me however, the stories I made up as a child were my truth at the time. It’s what made sense based on what happened and based on the information provided to me it was my truth about my experience.

I find when we get to changing stories we can be prone to get lost in details that aren’t driving our existance. When we get present to the truth we created to survive start and apply logic and reasoning to those beliefs we created we can begins to shift, and ultimately shift what we are aligned to. We stop being tethered to outdated programming and start aligning with something deeper: the truth of who we are.

Manifesting What Works for You

Even if life doesn’t feel like it’s working for you, it is working perfectly for your programming. That’s the beauty and the challenge of alignment, it’s always reflecting back exactly what you’ve created. The question isn’t whether you’re aligned; it’s whether you want to stay aligned with the reality you’re experiencing now.

When we begin to unmask ourselves and clear the false beliefs that no longer serve us, we create space for a new kind of alignment. One that works not just for our survival but for our thriving. This is the alignment of truth, where life begins to feel natural, effortless, and deeply connected to who we truly are.

One Step at a Time

As we see alignment is already happening, when we take this fact and add it along with our mastery being inevitable it allows us to open ourselves to the work of how easy it can be to see clearly what is and isn’t working and choosing to shift. Something to play with would be to start by asking yourself:

  • Does this feel aligned with who I want to become?

  • What beliefs in me might be keeping me aligned with something that no longer works for me?

Remember, alignment is not something you can forcing to feel good. It’s about becoming aware of the biofeedback you’re receiving and using it as a guide. When you feel resistance, frustration, or stuckness, it’s not a sign that you’re broken—it’s a sign that your programming is being challenged.

Alignment doesn’t mean you need to even change anything. It’s an opportunity to look at the beliefs and see what you believe that is causing you to experience what you are experiencing. Everything our brain creates is through a lens and the more we unmask, the more we shift our brain, beliefs, and lenses we see the world so we can align with what truly works for you. And as you do, mastery becomes the natural byproduct of living in your truth. One step at a time, we are creating our self into existence.
