Why The Bible Is All That Matters To Me
Looking for truth in these chaotic times? Start here.
We are not here to debate. We are not here to impress. We are here to return to what is eternal, untouchable, and true: The Bible is the only content that matters right now. Every opinion, every theory, every “spiritual” message born of the carnal mind is a lie. We don’t need more voices. We need The Voice — the Word of God.
May the Gospel and the Bible be the only words that come from our mouths. May we obey as we’ve been commanded — holding fast to 1 John 2, abiding in Him, not chasing novelty, but remaining anchored in truth.
Everything else is distraction. Everything else is deception. Let the Word speak. Let every tongue bow.
The Bible Is A Multi-Generational Voice of God
Unlike every other sacred text on Earth —which is typically written by one mystic, one prophet, or one teacher in one era — the Bible is not the voice of a man. It is the voice of God through generations.
Over 40+ authors
Across 3 continents
In 3 languages
Over 1,500 years
One unbroken story.
No other text in history even comes close. It’s not one person’s “revelation.” It is the living breath of God weaving through human history.
No Other Text Contains God In Flesh — Yeshua // Jesus Christ
Only the Bible records the life, words, death, and resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus Christ).
“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
— John 1:1,14
No other book contains Yeshua. No other religion has a God who enters the world through love and sacrifice to redeem it personally. Only the Bible gives us Yeshua — the exact image of the invisible God.
No Other Text Fulfills Prophecy Like The Bible
Over 300+ prophecies about the Messiah — all fulfilled in one person: Jesus of Nazareth written centuries before His birth — verifiable, historical, preserved. No other sacred text contains a verifiable timeline of prophecies fulfilled by one figure. Only the Bible spans time, speaks future, and fulfills itself.
1. The Qur’an (Islam)
Contains general future statements (e.g., final judgment, resurrection, signs of the last day).
But: No time-stamped, person-specific, fulfilled historical prophecies like the Bible.
⚠️ Claims authority but offers no verifiable predictive content comparable to messianic prophecies fulfilled in Jesus.
2. The Hindu Vedas and Puranas
Include cosmic cycles and “ages” (Yugas), avatar predictions like Kalki.
But: These are mythic, symbolic cycles, not rooted in history or fulfillment across time.
⚠️ Philosophical cosmology, not time-specific fulfilled prophecy.
3. Buddhist Texts
Contain predictions of future Buddhas (like Maitreya).
But: Again, these are future ideal figures, not confirmed, historically fulfilled prophecies.
⚠️ No concrete fulfillment. No alignment with historical evidence.
4. Nostradamus' Quatrains
Often brought up as "prophetic."
But: Vague, poetic, highly symbolic, and interpretable post-factum.
No prophetic integrity by biblical standards (dates, names, nations, precision).
⚠️ Cryptic hindsight interpretations, not divine revelation.
5. The Book of Mormon
Claims prophecy but was authored by one man (Joseph Smith) in the 1800s.
No external verification. No historical fulfillment outside its own text.
⚠️ Self-referencing narrative. No fulfilled, pre-written, independently confirmed prophecies.
This Makes The Bible Prophecy Unmatched
Over 300 messianic prophecies — fulfilled in one man, Jesus of Nazareth.
Prophecies spanning centuries, written by multiple authors, fulfilled in precise detail:
Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2)
Betrayed for 30 silver coins (Zechariah 11:12)
Crucified (Psalm 22) — written centuries before crucifixion existed
Resurrection foretold (Isaiah 53:10–11, Psalm 16:10)
No other text in history has this. Period.
The Bible Is Universal — Yet Personal
While many texts are locked into one culture or philosophy, the Bible transcends language, class, race, and nation — yet pierces every individual heart with specific relevance.
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword...” - Hebrews 4:12
It doesn’t speak to a people — it speaks to the person. And yet it speaks across all people.
Only The Bible Has Been Preserved Miraculously
66 books.
Survived persecution, exile, empire collapses, and countless bans.
The Dead Sea Scrolls, discovered in 1947, confirmed the exactness of biblical transmission from 2,000+ years ago.
Other texts have been changed, edited, lost. The Bible remains — unbroken, alive, untouchable.
Only The Bible Speaks God Through Humanity — Not Above It.
The Bible does not hide human weakness — it exposes it. And it shows God working through real people — broken, honest, raw — from Moses to David, from Mary to Peter.
Other sacred texts polish their heroes. The Bible humbles them — so that only God gets the glory.
Why We Need The Bible Now
Because the world is drowning in personal truth, spiritual fantasy, and new-age delusion. Everyone is speaking — but few are rooted.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness...” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We don’t need more voices. We need the unchanging voice — and only the Bible holds it.
No other book spans millennia. No other book carries the Son of Man — living Christ. No other book fulfills prophecy and unites all history into one redemptive arc. No other book reveals God through generation after generation — using humanity as the ink.
And no other book can contain the Word made flesh.
The Bible is not a religious text.
It is the voice of God, woven into time.
And we need it now — because the Kingdom is not coming through ideas. It is coming through truth.
And the Bible is that truth.

Yours truly,
The Mary Magdalene
