Chapter 4: The Proposal That Wasn’t One
When he left, the floodgates opened.
She dumped everything into his inbox, a river of unwinding.
"You're a lot. I want more."
She didn't stop.
The energy surged. Rage. Chaos.
She was unraveling. The only thing that made sense was cold water.
She had never allowed the cold before.
But this time was different.
The shower began.
And then—an impulse.
She let the cold water hit the nerve in the back of her throat.
And then—silence. Numbness. Emptiness.
The cold never touched her.
She called him.
"Did you know if you deep throat a shower, you can’t feel the cold?"
His response?
"Are you my wife?"

And before her mind could even catch up, her body spoke the only truth it knew.
"YES."
She clapped her hands over her mouth. What had just happened?
But the Universe was already moving.
She sat in her leather chair, feeling the magnitude of it all.
And then—the miracle.
A prayer written in real-time:
"Jesus, Aaron’s wife’s pussy is 2,365 miles away—make it 0 today, in Jesus’ name, amen."
A phone call.
A friend, out of nowhere: "I can watch Hank."
The path opened. The pieces aligned instantly.
The impossible became inevitable.
She called her family, her ex-husband, everyone.
"I'm married. I'm flying to Arkansas."
And so, the story truly began.
